My Story

I’m Christi Gray-Victor, Licensed Esthetician, CIDESCO Diplomate, Usui Reiki Master Practitioner, Sound Therapy Practitioner, and founder of 7d Esthetics and Healing Arts. My work is rooted in helping you reconnect with your inner peace and natural beauty through integrative skincare, energy healing, and frequency.

The Path of Duty

For over three decades, I dedicated my life to a career in accounting. As a single mother, choosing stability and responsibility was my highest priority. Commuting up to three hours a day, five days a week, and taking on contract accounting projects on weekends while juggling constant deadlines, I quietly ignored my own needs.

Over time, that relentless pace pulled me completely out of balance. My body carried the weight of chronic stress through inflammation, physical fatigue, and burnout. Deep down, I knew I was surviving rather than truly living, and that something had to shift.

The Turning Point

2021 wasn’t an awakening, it was a violent jolt. In the spring, I suffered the heartbreaking loss of my mother. Months later, in the fall, the cumulative toll of grief and decades of chronic stress and unresolved trauma culminated in a cardiovascular emergency. I was hospitalized with cardiac arrhythmias and elevated troponin levels, a critical marker indicating an impending heart attack. My body was sending an undeniable wake-up call that I could no longer ignore.

For the next two years, I began finding my bearings. I committed to therapy, navigated deep grief, and learned to listen to my body's quiet signals.

Then came October 2023, the moment a deep shift began to take shape. My sister invited me to my first sound bath. I arrived carrying profound, stored grief, yet as I lay immersed in frequency and vibration, decades of built-up tension dissolved. For the first time in my life, my nervous system felt free. Shortly after, I experienced my first Reiki sound bath, where I had a profound, out-of-body spiritual awakening. Each experience was a vital stepping stone, opening the door to the next level of my healing.

Still, true transformation takes time. It took ten more months to break through my deep mental resistance for change. For someone who had anchored her entire life in stability, stepping away from the known felt terrifying. I had to slowly unlearn the need for control and surrender to the change waiting for me.

I began a sacred journey of listening and remembering. I immersed myself in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), energy work, and sound therapy, experiencing firsthand how these modalities settle the nervous system, lower stress, and restore physical harmony to the body. In this space of surrender, I found true self-actualization and stepped fully into alignment with my higher purpose.

Yet, I’ve learned that healing is not linear, nor is it a final destination. Healing is a lifelong journey. We are always learning, peeling back new layers, and discovering who we are meant to be. By remaining curious and open to growth, every step forward becomes an invitation to return home to ourselves.

A Return to Self & Community

After retiring from accounting, I answered a deeper calling and went back to school to earn my esthetics license and prestigious CIDESCO International Skincare Diploma. To fully honor my vision of holistic care, I went on to become a Reiki Master Practitioner and Sound Therapy Practitioner. My goal was not simply to offer beauty treatments, but to build a sanctuary that honors the whole person by nurturing the body, calming the mind, and supporting the spirit.

In a world obsessed with filters, fillers, and fleeting standards, I believe true beauty isn't found in striving or comparison. What we now call "self-care" was once understood as a sacred ritual—a profound act of respect for both body and spirit.

When we step into our truth and authenticity, we realize our fullest potential, that healing doesn't stop with us. It ripples outward, laying the foundation for stronger, more compassionate, and connected communities. Walking in balance allows your natural radiance to reveal itself effortlessly, inspiring everyone around you to do the same.

An Offering of Harmony

At 7d Esthetics and Healing Arts, every treatment is a sacred offering guided by the Seven Grandfather Teachings: Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, and Truth.

This work is my heart’s calling. It is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and step into a space of growth, healing, and community connection. You do not need to change who you are to be beautiful. You only need to return to yourself and step fully into who you were always meant to be.
