My Story
I’m Christi Gray-Victor, Licensed Esthetician, CIDESCO diplomate, Reiki Master Practitioner trained in the Usui Reiki tradition and sound healing, founder of 7d Esthetics and Healing Arts, and a devoted advocate for holistic wellness. My work is rooted in helping others reconnect with their inner peace and natural beauty through integrative skincare, energy healing, and sound therapy.
From a young age, I carried a dream of becoming an esthetician. My father, a hardworking entrepreneur, encouraged me to follow a more “practical path”, and I stepped into a career in accounting, working in our family business for seven years before eventually relocating to California.
As a single mother, I chose stability and responsibility. I spent over three decades in accounting, twenty-four of those years commuting up to three hours a day, five days a week. Over time, that pace of life pulled me out of balance. I lived in a constant state of stress, and my body carried the weight of it through chronic inflammation and fatigue. Deep down, I knew I needed to find another way.
In 2021, my sister invited me to my first sound bath. I arrived carrying tension in my body and restlessness in my mind. As I lay in the presence of sound and vibration, something within me began to soften. When I left, I felt lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself than I had in many years.
That experience became a turning point.
I began walking a new path, one of learning, listening, and remembering. I immersed myself in holistic practices, studying energy work, sound therapy, and mindfulness practices. Through these teachings, I came to understand the power of energy work, frequency and vibration to support the nervous system and restore balance within the body.
In that journey, the dream I carried as a young girl returned, this time with deeper purpose and meaning.
I retired from accounting and went back to school to become a licensed esthetician, guided by the intention to create more than treatments. I wanted to create a space of care, one that honors the whole person. A space where individuals can come not only embrace their unique beauty, but a space that also nurtures the body, calms the mind, and supports the spirit.
At 7d Esthetics and Healing Arts, I bring together the wisdom of touch, sound, and intention to offer holistic skincare experiences that support healing from the inside out.
In today’s world, there is constant pressure to follow changing standards of beauty—filters, fillers, and facades. But true beauty does not come from striving or comparison. It lives within you. When you walk in truth and in balance, your natural radiance reveals itself. My role is simply to support you in remembering that, and in caring for your skin with kindness and respect.
What we now call “self-care” was once understood as sacred practice. Across many ancient cultures, including those that worked with the elements of earth, plant, and touch, skincare rituals were used to support vitality, balance, and connection—not perfection. They were acts of respect for the body and spirit.
The same is true for sound. For generations, vibration and tone have been used to support healing on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Science is beginning to affirm what has long been known: sound is not only heard, it is felt, and it carries the ability to restore harmony within.
This work is more than skincare. It is a path of connection, guided by truth, humility, respect, love, courage, honesty, and wisdom. Each treatment is an offering: a chance to slow down, to listen, and to come back into balance with yourself. Because the way we care for ourselves matters. It carries forward into the lives we touch and the generations that follow. You do not need to change who you are to be beautiful. You only need to return to yourself, and honor what has always been there.
